Boxing fans eager to see the only professional championship fight that really matters, Floyd "Money" Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao, may have to give of the dream of seeing the world's two finest fighters square off.
While Pacquiao seems to get better with each performance in the ring, Mayweather's best boxing achievements are fading into distant memories as his legal problems have sent him in to a spiral.
Mayweather's latest woes came this week, when an arrest warrant was issued for him for a November clash with a security guard whom Mayweather allegedly poked in the eye.
Police said Mayweather was issued two parking tickets by the security guard. Mayweather confronted the guard and struck him in the face and poked him in the eye.
Other officers attempted to question Mayweather about the incident, but he refused to open the door to his home.
That's a fine way for a man to carry himself as the best boxer in the world - hiding from police behind a closed door.
It might as well have been Pacquiao knocking on the door the way Mayweather has ducked the Filipino champion the past few years.
Mayweather faces six months in jail if convicted.
And don't forget Mayweather is still facing a domestic battery charge for allegedly beating up his former girlfriend, Josie Harris, in front of their kids in September.
At this point, it might be time for Mayweather to forget about all in-ring pursuits and concentrate on getting his life back on track.
