Boosting the Creative Arts Industry
It has come to the notice of government the uneasiness on the part of some stakeholders in the Creative Arts Industry concerning the interest of their sectors in the 2 million Ghana Cedis fund proposed by government to support the Creative Arts Industry in the 2012 budget.
For the avoidance of doubt, the 2 million fund is to support and develop the institutional capacity of all stakeholders in the creative industry and to promote the industry to enable it contribute more to national development.
Government wish to acknowledge the support and collaboration it received from MUSIGA and other stakeholders in the industry in working towards this innovative idea which we believe will give the industry the necessary impetus for accelerated development.
