Minister appeals civil servants to partner government

Gwollu (U/W), Aug 13, GNA - Alhaji Issahaque Salia, the Upper West Regional Minister, has appealed to civil and public servants to bury their political differences and partner the government to enable it to achieve its "Better Ghana" agenda.

He said the government expected them to guide the government to keep its machinery running to deliver on its development agenda.

Mr Salia said it would not be in best interest of the people if they use political differences and other considerations to thwart government structures, policies and programmes.

Alhaji Salia was addressing members of the Sissala West District Assembly, heads of decentralised departments and civil society organisations at Gwollu on Thursday as part of his tour of the district.

He told the workers that working hard to improve the living conditions of the people should be the ultimate task of all and that must be done at all cost.

At a separate meeting at Tumu, Alhaji Salia said the government expected civil and public servants to act, execute and implement its policies and programmes.
