1. What is responsible for the recent upsurge in prostitution?

state of the nation address.

Basically we shall be dicussing the speech in detail and if there is time we
shall look at how the rail sector will open up the country and contribute to
economic development. How the rail sector can create jobs and help the longevity
of our roads.

1. The government contracted a private investigation company, Tiger Eye, to investigate corruption at the Tema habour which culminated in the video titled by Anas as the 'Enemies of the Nation'. The questions we ask are:
a. Why has the government used a private investigation company?
b. Has the government lost faith in the national security aparatus? If so why should the taxpayer continue to pay these state agencies?
c. How will this affect the morale of the security services?
d. Is Ghana effectively fighting corruption in the wake of these revelations?
e. Is this a proof that the government is determined to fighting corruption using every means available.
2. The president has cut the sod for the construction of two universities; Volta region (Ho and Hohoe): University of Health and Allied Sciences. It will have eight schools, one faculty and two institutes as well as a Medical Science and Exercise Nursing School.
On Tuesday, January 8, President Mills performed another sod cutting ceremony in the Brong Ahafo Region for the construction of the University of Energy and Natural Resource Management.
The questions we ask are:
a. How would these universities contribute to national development?
b. In an economic challenging environment, how can the government resource these universities when the existing ones are facing infrastructure and logistical constrains?
c. How can we sustain these universities?
3. What do you make of Nana Akufo Addo's "all die be die" comments in Eastern
Region?
